Moles may be cute creatures, but their presence and continued residence on your property can cause a lot of trouble.
These animals love to eat—especially earthworms, larvae, and insects. They also enjoy tasty roots and tubers.

There is an abundance of worms and insects in the fertile soil under the lawn.
Our little “friend” takes full advantage of this, leaving behind a hilly surface crisscrossed with dozens or even hundreds of tunnels.

There are many methods to control moles, which can be grouped into four categories:

1️⃣ Repellingmethods – using noise, vibration, and ultrasonic devices, widely available in specialty stores.
2️⃣ Chemicalsolutions – require caution, as they can harm not only the soil but also human health. These include calcium carbide, kerosene, naphthalene, ammonia, vinegar, castor oil, diesel fuel, and even tear gas.
3️⃣ Folkmethods – for example, planting legumes, hemp, garlic, and other plants around the perimeter of the plot. Some gardeners use unconventional techniques, such as soaking cigarette butts in water to make a solution or placing rotten vegetables and eggs in the tunnels. However, these methods have proven to be largely ineffective.
4️⃣ Mechanicalmethods – traps, snares, and homemade mole catchers.

However, in practice, most of these approaches show little effectiveness.
A few years ago, our team had to face this formidable pest head-on, and we succeeded. Traps and acoustic devices failed to produce any results.
